Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Dear Club Members,

We are pleased to announce that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of our club is scheduled to take place on 07 March 2024 at 6pm, to be held at the clubhouse. This significant meeting provides an opportunity for us to reflect on our past achievements, deliberate on our future endeavours, and engage in the democratic process of electing our Management Committee.

In line with Section 11 (1) of our club’s constitution, it is important to note that all current members of the Management Committee will be retiring from office at this AGM. This process ensures the continued vitality and governance of our club by allowing for the regular introduction of new ideas and leadership. However, it is important to note that retiring committee members are eligible for re-election, subject to the club’s nomination procedures.

We strongly encourage members who are interested in contributing to the leadership and direction of our club to consider standing for a position on the Management Committee. Detailed information about the nomination process, including the necessary nomination form, is available on our club’s website. We urge potential candidates to familiarise themselves with these details well in advance of the AGM to fully understand the commitments and responsibilities associated with each committee role.
