Chris has a long and accomplished history as a player at LCRU. He has played 22 years for the club starting in 1992 in the under 6's and finishing with a 1st Grade Premiership in 2014.
Chris left the club in 2015 to improve his coaching skills and knowledge. Chris was handed the opportunity as Premier Reserve coach at Wests Rugby Union and worked along side top level coaches such as Phil Moody and Pat Byron, just to list a couple of mentors.
Upon hearing of the promotion of LCRU to the Brisbane Premier Grade Competition Chris immediately contacted the club to express his interest. He wanted to use what he had gained and help the club in 2017 build towards a competitive club culture and steer them in the direction of success.
As a teacher Chris has exceptional organisational and teaching skills which show through in his coaching methods. Chris prides himself in building players individual skills while emphasising the importance of a positive team unit.
